How To Build A Cornhole Set

Cornhole sets are easy and fun to build. I don't have the step by step directions finished yet, so for now I'll just provide you with the dimensions and parts list.
  • Set Dimensions:
    • Surface: 2ft X 4ft
    • Front Height Range: 2.5" - 3.5"
    • Back Height Range: 11" - 12"
    • Hole Diameter: 6"
    • Hole Location: 6" to center of hole from top edge. (3" from edge of hole to top edge)
  • Bag Specifics:
    • Material: Duck Cloth
    • Dimensions: 6" square before filled with corn.
    • Fill each bag with one pound of shelled corn.
  • Parts List:
    • 2 - 2' X 4' X 1/2" Plywood boards (Can be bought precut)
    • 4 - 2" X 3" X 48" (4 - 48" 2X3's for sides)
    • 4 - 2" X 3" X 21" (4 - 21" 2X3's for top and bottom)
    • 4 - 2" X 3" X 18" (4 - 18" 2X3's for legs)
      • This is the trickiest part of the build. The legs need to be cut at an angle so that they can sit flat on the ground. The length is also very important as is the location of the holes to mount the legs. For now, if you need specifics on the legs, Contact Us.
    • 2 - 2" X 3" X 17" (2 - 17" 2X3's for leg braces)
    • 24 - Wood Screws
    • Finish Nails
    • 4 - 4" X 3/8" Pan head bolts
    • 4 - 3/8" Flat washers
    • 4 - 3/8" Lock washers
  • Tools Required:
    • Hammer
    • Drill
    • Saw (Preferrably a Miter Saw)
    • 9/16" Socket Wrench
    • Jig Saw (To cut 6" hole - 6" Hole Saw is best, but hard to find and expensive for one set)
